The Vitality Netball World Cup took place at the M&S Bank Arena between the 12th and 21st July 2019 and was hailed as the most successful Netball World Cup ever.
The British Championships for Gymnastics
The partnership between British Gymnastics and Liverpool has been long and illustrious, with Britain’s first World medallists in both Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (Neil Thomas and Beth Tweddle) both being closely associated with the City.
BISFed 2018 World Boccia Championship 2018
The Boccia International Sports Federation (BISFed) World Boccia Championships is the biggest and most prestigious on the international calendar outside the Paralympic Games. It is a target ball paralympic sport, with no Olympic equivalent, designed for athletes with impairments affecting all four limbs. It demands muscle control and precision and requires the ultimate concentration and skill.
ROCK N ROLL RUNNING SERIES 2014 – 2021
In 2013 Liverpool City Council went out to tender to find a partner to deliver a marathon for the city. It chose and appointed the Rock n Roll Marathon Series to start their first event in England.
