The UK indie film sector finally has something to celebrate, the announcement of the eagerly anticipated Independent Film Tax Credit. The IFTC has finally been confirmed by Chancellor Rachel Reeves and the Culture Secretary, Lisa Nandy. Transformational plans for Liverpool’s Littlewoods Project given green light

Plans by Capital&Centric to transform the iconic former Littlewoods building in Liverpool into a new, world-class film and TV campus have been approved by Liverpool City Council’s Planning Committee. The plans for the Council-owned site, which include the restoration and repurposing of the 1930s Edge Lane building, were submitted by the social impact developers last year. An ‘Action!’-packed career boost for new Film Office’s trainees

More than 400 people have kickstarted their film and TV careers thanks to Liverpool City Council Film Office’s Action! programme. The second series of Jimmy McGovern’s multi-award-winning hit drama Time has received investment from Liverpool Film Office through the Liverpool City Region (LCR) Production Fund. Liverpool sets scene for £70 million “game-changing” Film and TV studios at iconic site

Liverpool City Council has set out the next steps to deliver one of the UK’s biggest TV and Film complexes.
