Liverpool City Region Hospitality and Leisure Businesses Urged to Apply for Omicron Grant

Businesses from the hospitality and leisure sectors are invited to apply for a one-off payment of up to £6,000. The Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant is funded by central government and will support businesses which have been most impacted by the Omicron variant. The scheme for Liverpool is administered by Liverpool City Council and will support businesses which offer in-person services within hospitality, leisure or accommodation – and are delivered from rate paying premises. Liverpool will soon enjoy easy global reach: Lufthansa Airlines announced that it will open up a new connection between Liverpool and Frankfurt (Germany). Starting 4th May 2022 the traditional German carrier will offer nonstop flights for the first time from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to its main hub in Frankfurt.
