LIVERPOOL’S TAYLOR TOWN TRAIL GIVES TYPICALLY WARM LIVERPOOL WELCOME TO POP SUPERSTAR AND HER GLOBAL FANS

The buzz from Taylor Swift’s electrifying three-night stint at Anfield Stadium has left Liverpool enchanted, largely thanks to the talented lady herself, but also in no small part, to the creative and whimsical welcome provided by Culture Liverpool, Make CIC and Marketing Liverpool.

From June 8 to 16, the city transformed into a Swiftie paradise, celebrating Taylor’s beyond-iconic eras with 11 breathtaking art installations.

Imagine strolling through Royal Albert Dock and encountering a majestic 7-foot butterfly, a homage to Taylor’s debut album. Or capturing the vibrant hues of the ‘Fearless’ era at New Bird Street’s colourful mural—perfect for snapping selfies!

Metquarter Liverpool bloomed with the lilac essence of the ‘Speak Now’ era, offering a glimpse into Taylor’s popstar life. Meanwhile, at Mann Island Atrium, visitors immersed themselves in the dreamy clouds of ‘1989’, surrounded by handcrafted seagulls.

Liverpool ONE hosted a regal throne inspired by ‘Reputation’, where fans channelled their inner pop royalty amidst snakes and skulls aplenty. And don’t forget the candy-coloured dreamscape at Royal Liverpool Albert Dock, inspired by ‘Lover’, radiating love and inclusivity.

For fans seeking tranquillity, The Bluecoat Garden offered a serene replica of Taylor’s moss-covered grand piano from the ‘folklore’ era, perfect for quiet contemplation and playlist dedication.

The city’s creative pulse also extended beyond visuals with craft workshops at Metquarter Liverpool, where fans created origami and transformed T-shirts into Swif-tee masterpieces. Plus, a symposium at the University of Liverpool delved deep into Taylor’s cultural impact, featuring critical karaoke and interactive talks.

Whether visitors were here for the concerts or simply to soak up the Taylor magic, Liverpool invited all to explore, engage, and celebrate the unstoppable international icon that is Taylor Swift in a way no other city could. Take a look at a selection of our favourite images from the trail below. Liverpool Loves to welcome people with style.
