Sue Finnegan, Marketing Liverpool’s Acting Head of Visitor Economy, is determined to make Taste Liverpool 2024 an even bigger success; she said:

“This year, Liverpool is seeking to amplify the festival’s impact by involving local businesses and talent directly. The plan is to transform Taste Liverpool into not just a two-week spectacle but a year-round brand that fosters sector development and growth. The call to action is clear – the entire visitor economy sector is urged to play a role in programming and engagement.”

Marketing Liverpool, in collaboration with Culture Liverpool and Liverpool BID Company, will launch a Taste Liverpool hospitality campaign in early spring to help position Liverpool City Region as a dynamic and diverse global hospitality hub.

The ultimate goal is to establish Liverpool as the premier UK host city for major events and hospitality. Riding high on the recent recognition by Time Out, which named Liverpool the 7th best city in the world for 2024, organizers are determined to push the city even higher up the ranks.
