INTX are a transport company based in Liverpool, offering full UK coverage and with over 20 years of experience in the transport sector.
INTX’s three main service areas are coach hire, chauffeur hire and managed transport. With over 20 years in the transportation industry, INTX are fully aware of the impact that the sector has on the environment and are determined to be a voice for change for small businesses who want to care for the planet.
With much of the work that INTX do being centred on the travel and tourism sector, they have signed up to Green Tourism’s award programme which holds companies accountable for how they operate and impact the environment.
INTX achieved a bronze award in 2021 and are in the process of improving practices and policies, with the hope to gain a higher-level award at the end of 2023. The Green Tourism award process involves an in-depth assessment across three goal areas that cover people, places and the planet.
They have also joined the Better Business Act coalition alongside 1000+ other businesses calling to amend section 172 of The Companies Act to ensure that company directors are responsible for advancing the interests of shareholders alongside those of wider society and the environment.
As part of the coalition, INTX team members have been writing to their local MPs to raise awareness of the campaign. With assessments and policies being updated and implemented to improve the way INTX operate, they are also able to see immediate effects of their activism with every hire made through INTX including a donation to Trees for Life, who are a charity working hard to rewild the Scottish Highlands. In 2022,
INTX planted over 500 trees into their grove and hope to exceed that goal in 2023. The company’s sustainability efforts extend beyond their environmental initiatives, and they have taken steps to support the international community by choosing Transaid as their international charity of choice.

Transaid are a transport charity with a goal to “transform lives through safe, available and sustainable transport.” In support of the work Transaid are doing, INTX’s team members are fundraising for the charity by walking 2.5 million steps in April to commemorate their 25th anniversary in 2023.
With the initiatives that INTX have implemented and the the goal to continue to improve, they hope to inspire like-minded transport companies in Liverpool to help care for the planet.
INTX’s Managing Director, Andrew Globe has said the following regarding their sustainability efforts:
“We know that we are not perfect and have a long way to go with our sustainability efforts, but we think what is most important is consistent effort and change.
It can be difficult for small transport companies to know how they can make a difference or how they can approach sustainability which was the case for us. That is why we’ve decided to support great organisations such as Green Tourism, the Better Business Act Campaign and 2030hub who offer support and guidance on where businesses can improve.
We are also aware that sustainability extends far beyond just the environment and are working towards making our own impact towards social projects that improve the lives of those in our local and international community.”
