Liverpool’s brand new Baltic Hotel is an eccentric mix of post-war modernism dressed in pre-war architecture. Where punk art meets urban chic, a colourful retreat for hipsters and hippies and the great and the good.
Marketing Liverpool caught up with Suzanne McEldowney, Deputy Sales and Operations Director of Town Hotels Liverpool to find out more about her company’s latest venture, that’s already shaking-up Liverpool’s ever-lively Jamaica Street.
TELL US ABOUT THE HOTEL & THE VISION BEHIND IT
“The Baltic Hotel is the newest project from the team that brought us Duke Street Boutique, Chavasse Apartments and York Street Studios. An industrial-chic hotel with a 70’s vibe, it’s the newest destination in Liverpool’s trendiest area.”
“With 56 bedrooms, high-quality dining and multiple event spaces, our hotel has been designed to offer a whole new experience to our guests. Our vision has always been to bring a truly unique hotel to the city and bring a taste of London and New York to the heart of The Baltic Triangle.”
WHAT CAN YOUR GUESTS EXPECT?
“So much more than just a hotel. The Baltic is the new destination for people to stay, drink, dine and party. With beautifully designed bedrooms, a stylish restaurant and an expertly curated line-up of events and entertainment, guests can expect a full destination package and a stay to remember.
“Whether a corporate stay, couples retreat or a group booking, we can offer a bespoke experience to suit your needs. We work with local companies to ensure that our guests get great deals within the city and know exactly where to go to enhance their visit.”
WE UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR ROLE ALSO COVERS ADDITIONAL PROPERTIES…
“It does indeed! In addition to the Baltic Hotel, I also look after our Duke Street Boutique Hotel – which is a 31 bedroom crash pad, ideal for independent travellers, business stays or people looking to explore the city.
“The role also covers our York Street Apartments (fully functional apartments for groups of 6 – 22) and also the Chavasse Apartments (31 apartments) which are fully serviced and self-contained for groups of between two to six. So something for everyone really!
“I’m looking forward to seeing our rooms fully booked once more and organising the exciting opening party for The Baltic Hotel.
