This week (Wednesday) we hosted a webinar in collaboration with Spoonful Marketing to present the new Liverpool Sightseeing Pass to Marketing Liverpool partners.
The new Liverpool Sightseeing Pass will be a first for the Liverpool City Region. In just three years the team has already built up 16 passes across North America and Spain. The Liverpool pass will be their second UK product which also includes London.
Liverpool was chosen due to the quantity and quality of tourism products on offer together with their international appeal.
The Liverpool Sightseeing Pass will use the latest technology and partners will benefit from international exposure and targeted marketing campaigns in both consumer and trade markets.
The ambitious goal is to launch the pass at World Travel Market in November 2020 and we are viewing this as an integral part of our tourism recovery activity.
Over 40 Marketing Liverpool partners attended the webinar which included a panel of tourism representatives from Marketing Liverpool, Spoonful Marketing, TravelBeat and Museum of Modern Art, New York.
Symeon Vasilieiadis of the Liverpool Sightseeing Pass / Spoonful Marketing said:
“We are so grateful to the Marketing Liverpool team for giving us the opportunity to present the pass to Marketing Liverpool partners. We see this as a big city region wide collaboration and we’re really looking forward to working with as many partners as possible to make the pass a reality; to reaffirm Liverpool’s position on the world tourism stage and to help in the city’s COVID-19 recovery.”
