Suzanne, Rachel and Jess from the Marketing Liverpool team are selling Liverpool’s conference offer to the world.
They’re currently in Barcelona attending IBTM. IBTM takes place each year and is one of the leading global events in conference and meetings industry. They’re joined by colleagues from ACC Liverpool on the ‘Meet England’ stand, where they have 35 pre-scheduled appointments with conference and incentive buyers from across the globe.
During the 3-day show the team will deliver a presentation to delegates on Liverpool City Region’s ‘sensational as standard’ conference product.
This year the ‘Meet England’ stand is themed around film locations in the UK – something Liverpool is excelling in recently with the launch of the BBC One’s War of the Worlds and Netflix’s Series Three of ‘The Crown’ of which Liverpool played a starring role.
With a supporting piece in the IBTM Show Daily newspaper, this should encourage some non-pre scheduled visitors to the Meet England stand.
Activity on Stand
On day two of the show there’ll be an on-stand event from the Delegate Wranglers who will invite additional event buyers and guests to the stand for networking and drinks.
Delegate Wranglers is founded by Neil Thompson from Southport and is a place for event professionals, suppliers, venues and anyone working in the events industry to request information, ask for advice, give advice and more – and it all started from a Facebook Group.
