This Week VisitLiverpool and Culture Liverpool announced the return of River of Light.

For 2019, the winter firework display is back bigger and better as a nine-day light festival taking place 1 – 9 November. The festival will feature 10 light and sound commissions on Liverpool’s Waterfront created by some of the most exciting artists from across Europe.

River of Light has built a reputation in recent years thanks to its spectacular mid-river firework display produced by Culture Liverpool and Titanium Fireworks. Last year a number of art installations appeared on Liverpool’s waterfront including ‘Pool of Mirrors’ created by local art organisation Kazimier Productions and a glowing triangle walkway on the Strand, which proved a popular photo spot.

With this in mind we expect this year’s installations to prove just as popular for photographers, selfie takers and art enthusiasts of all ages.

In 2019 VisitLiverpool.com is the official home for all information regarding River of Light, with a brand new section dedicated to the light festival.

VisitLiverpool is the official tourism website for Liverpool City Region, supported by the work Marketing Liverpool does across the globe. This includes press and influencer projects, trade shows, sales missions and our digital and social activity.

With the potential that River of Light has as a nationally and internationally renowned event, it makes sense for VisitLiverpool to spearhead this campaign with a destination message.

VisitLiverpool will run a targeted ad campaign across key platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Google Display Network, Google Ad Words and Email. This will be supported by organic content across Marketing Liverpool’s channels.

The striking landing page has been created thanks to work from Culture Liverpool’s Design and Marketing Team and VisitLiverpool’s Digital Team. Take a look at the website at visitliverpool.com/riveroflight
