Marketing Liverpool and tourism partners have been in Paris this week on a whistle-stop 24 hour stay.
Organised by Marketing Liverpool, the visit centred around a destination and product presentation to top French tour operators hosted by the British Embassy.
The objective was to develop new business and highlight our established tourist attractions and hotels together with some of the new attractions that are set to open this year.
France is an excellent market for Liverpool with great transport connections and particular interest in culture, music, sport and educational tours.
A special video had been recorded in advance to show on the day with Julia Baird introducing the city and the story behind the new Strawberry Field development.
