Be A Liverpool 2018 Supercar Spotter!

Liverpool 2018

A supercar has been given a neon makeover to celebrate the anniversary of Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture title.

An award winning BAC Mono motorcar has been emblazoned with the ‘Liverpool 2018’ branding by APM Customs, and anyone who spots it on the city’s streets are encouraged to take a snap and send it in to @CultureLPool using #spotthemono.

The best shots will be in with the chance of winning a number of top prizes including:

• A hotel stay for two at a 4 star city centre hotel
• An exclusive BAC Mono track day where you will experience just how powerful the supercar is
• VIP tickets for the Saturday and Sunday of Liverpool International Music Festival – which are sold out

The eye-catching design is a one-off unique look for the world’s first road-legal, single seater production car which is manufactured in Liverpool. People will be able to spot it out and about over the next few weeks – keep an eye on the Culture Liverpool social media channels for hints about where the supercar will be and when.

Neill Briggs, Director of Product Development and Co-Founder of Briggs Automotive Company said

“The BAC Mono already serves as an ambassador for Liverpool across the world, and we’re delighted to be part of the Liverpool 2018 celebrations with the brand emblazoned on the car’s body.

“BAC is an ambitious and visionary company – traits we share with the city of Liverpool. We both look to push boundaries, build on our strong reputation and are known around the globe for being forward-thinking and pioneering.

“We are proud that BAC is built in Liverpool and we are proud to be supporting this special anniversary year.”

Liverpool’s Deputy Mayor and Cabinet Member for Culture, Tourism and Events, Councillor Wendy Simon, said:

“We are always spreading the word about the fantastic cultural programme taking place this year and to have it loud and proud on a BAC Mono car really is the coming together of two incredibly successful brands.

“Its pink and yellow design is sure to attract attention, and photos can mean prizes, so we’re encouraging people to get a snap of the vehicle, send it in to the Culture Liverpool (@CultureLPool) team and be in with the chance of being our competition winners.”
