The ACC Liverpool Group has appointed Adrian Evans as its assistant director of conference and exhibition sales.
He will be responsible for driving and delivering conference and exhibition sales strategies; developing existing and creating new client and stakeholder relationships; generating new business opportunities and maximising revenue and growth.
Evans joins from the NEC where he was director of conference and live events. Prior to this, he held senior sales roles at Manchester Central, Edinburgh International Conference Centre, NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau and Q Hotels.
He said: “ACC Liverpool is an award-winning venue in the heart of a vibrant city. Therefore I am honoured to join such a dynamic and committed team to help ensure we continue to secure and deliver successful conferences and exhibitions.”

Forthcoming events include BBC Worldwide Showcase, returning for the seventh time in February, the International Business Festival and Labour Party Conference – returning for the third time in September. International congresses in 2018 include Uni Global Union World Congress and Health Systems Research.
ACC Liverpool has welcomed more than 840,000 conference delegates since opening and the campus, home to BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena Liverpool and Exhibition Centre Liverpool, has generated more than £1.4bn in economic benefit for the city region since it opened in 2008, welcoming a total of 6.4 million visitors.
